Originally built in 1862 for the Manchester & Salford Bank & located in the historic Grade II listed Bond Building on York Street, Cut & Craft occupies 9,000 sq. ft. of striking hospitality space with capacity for 150 covers.
Delivered on a fast-track programme, our full scope was completed within six weeks, from design detailing and material procurement to fabrication and on-site installation.
Our works included:
- Central bar feature in bespoke finishes, forming the focal point of the venue.
- Brass reception desk with clean lines and integrated lighting.
- Display units in matching brass and timber detailing.
- Waiter stations and a full concierge desk designed for functionality and flow.
- A series of privacy screens and decorative dividing elements across the dining areas.
- Custom woven brass feature panels throughout.
- Glow tables and integrated planter tables to enhance the dining experience.
- Full coffee station and DJ unit in bespoke metal and timber.
- Feature brass screens and media units.
- Helical staircase with fabricated balustrade and a custom under-stair wine enclosure.
- Vanity units and various fitted joinery elements across the venue.
This project demonstrates the seamless integration of craftsmanship, coordination, and speed, transforming a heritage building into one of Manchester’s standout restaurant spaces.
